NASHVILLE, TENN. (January 16, 2023) – Hall Strategies, a Nashville-based public relations and government relations firm since 2004, has made a senior level promotion and hire at the start of 2023 as the firm continues its growth trajectory supporting some of the most impactful organizations in Tennessee. They are:

  • Sara Pruneski, promoted to director; and
  • Matthew Kuhn, hired as public affairs supervisor.

“2022 was a banner year for Hall Strategies and its work on behalf of clients doing transformative work in Nashville and around the state,” said Justin H. Wilson, partner at Hall Strategies. “Sara is a stalworth teammate since 2017, leading communication and community strategies for many of our highest profile clients. We’ve gotten to know Matthew in a variety of ways working with him over the past several years, and he will be an immediate boon to clients with his talents and wealth of knowledge.”

Added Wilson, “We’re excited to jump start the New Year with important work for clients featuring Sara and Matthew and our highly capable team.”

Located downtown within the Castner-Knott building, launched by partners Joe Hall and Abby Trotter in 2004, Hall Strategies helps a diverse array of clients seize opportunity through either public relations, public affairs, government relations, event execution or a combination of these capabilities.

Sara Pruneski, Director

Pruneski, now director, joined Hall Strategies in 2017, relocating from the Glover Park Group, now FGS Global, in Washington, D.C.

Pruneski successfully administers TennSMART, a nonprofit consortium focused on electric vehicles, connected cars, freight efficiency and more. The organization is working to tap into Tennessee’s manufacturing power and considerable research assets to make the state the home for smart mobility solutions. She has also led media initiatives for companies like Dell Technologies that distinguish them in the Nashville marketplace and highlight their community impact.
